GOD'S WRATH ON TEXAS?

The other day, GOP Presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) said the recent hurricane, including the deaths of 26 people, was a message from God, who was displeased with federal spending.

She said later her comment was a joke. Yeah, maybe, but you can't un-ring that bell. Looks to me like she was trying to rile up the loons who are her base.

Now they have 30,000 acres in one fire in Texas, and 21,000 fires have destroyed 1,500 homes in Gov. Rick Perry's home state.

They also have a hunger problem in Texas, the state that Gov. Rick Perry brags about as creating new jobs and attracting new people who move there in droves.

Hurray, let's move there so we can starve. If hunger won't get us, the fires might. Does that sound Biblical to you?

Is God sending a message? If so, what could it be?

Maybe God is punishing Texas for giving us Rick Perry and George W. Bush. What do you think?

Of course you won't hear that from Michele Bachmann or any other right-wing nutcase. Their logic only cuts one way.
